So, last year, we went to Pratapgad, but it wasn't like any other trekking trip; it was a family trip that we had planned for a long time. We travelled to Mahabaleshwar in our own private car, but Pratapgad was nearby, so we decided to stop there.Pratapgad is a mountain fort located in Satara district, in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra.The fort is situated 24 kilometres from the Mahabaleshwar hill station. Car parking is available at the Pratapgad foothills. Following that, we must walk and climb stairs that are still in good condition.While climbing the stairs, there are many small shops, hotels, and handicraft shops where locals can earn money.After about a half hour, you arrive at the fort's gate. The gates and everything are in excellent condition.
